Good morning lovely guys =3! First: NOO ash didn't get pushed on the previous page xD I've simply used that "trick" too much... he's just surprised/shoked seing pikachu's angry face....I'm sorry if it looked like pushing again >.< Oh, and this page....hmm, I haven't written soo much in one page EVER XD Again, Pikachu's thoughts...it's really nice to finally write down what pikachu actually is feeling.. even if it's one single page, I think you get an idea of his condition. yeah, and..uhm, I know I have to practise more with kisses.. AND bodies (pikachu's always TOO big XDD ) /// EDIT thanks to those who corrected the error in the last panel ^^ |

Noooo!! Fight him Ash, Pikachu needs a bitch slap. This comic requires me to forget all that I know about the characters' personalities, and that is hard, and their species, and that is harder. Pikachu is really a giant yellow mouse. Ash's pet. If I had a pet that turned into a human and decided to come on to me, I'd be out of there pretty sharpish to find Horny so I could turn him back and give him to new owners. The inner dialogue reminds me of a certain male vampire from a certain [shit] book, I don't know why. Anyway, I like your art. It's why I read this comic. Pikachu is probably slightly too big, but who's going for realism here :) You may want to scale down Pika's hands though, they're bigger than his face. |

@Glori- Just pointing this out, in case you didn't know, ASH DID THIS TO PIKACHU. He -wanted- Pikachu to turn into a human so they could have sex. He didn't get the gender he wanted, but hey. If it had worked, and Ash 'had a pet that turned into a human and decided to come onto to him' he would have been more than happy to oblige Pikachu right then, right there. It obviously didn't bother Ash before he changed Pikachu into a human, and it's not going to bother him now. The only thing he's upset about is that his Pikachu turned out to be a boy and still wants him anyway. To Setsuro and KitsuneXKyuubi Setsuro: Why exactly do I bother you? Because I don't get off on the idea of a boy and his pokemon turned human getting jiggy? Yassa does deserve praise. Her art is great, a lovely, slightly sketchy style with flair. I enjoy the art, but not the story. KitsuneXKyuubi: Yes, I was aware of that, I've read every page of this. My point was that the characters have completely different personalities to their 'original' counterparts. Pikachu is a pushy sexual predator, basically like every other seme. All I was trying to point out was that this story could have been so much more interesting, imaginative, original etc (despite the 'I want sex with my pet') if they had more of their original personalities or if it didn't follow the same yaoi formula. Art like this deserves a great story.But then it probably wouldn't have as many fangirls. |

lol Glori I can see where you're coming from. But this is a doujinshi; basically every doujinshi in the existence of the world is created to play out on the author's, usually sexual, fantasies. I agree with you, if this story retained everyone's original personalities this could be a very dynamic story; I was the only one rooting for Ash/Misty for awhile! But I bet it wouldn't be yaoi, and that was the whole point. |

To Glori Honestly... I think that's just a tad narrow-minded. This artwork has a great story, and even though it's not perfect, it's made to be romantic, boy-love, shouju-like goodness. That's it's purpose, and it serves it well. Just because it doesn't have some convoluted, extremely intricate plot full of twists doesn't make it any less of a boy-love manga. It is what it is. And by the by, you're mistaken about Pikachu. Pikachu isn't a pushy, sexual predator. If he was, he would've raped Ash on the spot regardless of what Ash had to say about it, which includes anything Ash may say to hurt Pikachu's feelings. The Pikachu in here is generally happy-go-lucky, lovable, sweet, and sensitive, with a little bit of a temper on the side. I'd say he fits the part of Pikachu just right. |

To Glori, Setsuro, KitsuneXKyuubi Not that I'm arguing with anyone here. But I noticed the mention of Pikachu being out of character and being a 'sexual predator.' Well, the pokemon that changed him into a human was called "Horny." And Pikachu's been human longer than the others, and we haven't seen enough of the other pokemon's thoughts and feelings to tell, but... What if a side effect of the transformation causes him to be a bit more sexually aggressive than he normally would be? Causes him to be, well... horny! Just speculating... I mean, why call the pokemon "Horny" if it didn't affect the transformed pokemon in that way? |

I sorta wish Yassa would have stuck closer to their original personalities more, too. Oh well. This story is just for the fluff~ We need to get that thru our heads. The art is just...GORGEOUS. And I think we can all agree that this story is good as FLUFF if all of you can agree that yaoi fan girls aren't exactly the best critics when it comes to a decent story~ I love you all, but it's the freakin truth XD I really want to see Yassa work harder on her stories. Cause the art is just fantastic. Maybe it would be interesting to see her collab with a decent writer for a comic...just a suggestion. I think it would be a very interesting contrast to the work she's doing now. And the fans would see what a few of us are talking about. The second someone puts something of theirs online, no matter how rabid their fans, they are not only going to get constructive crit (which Glori was kind enough to provide, as she had accurate observations--everyone is horribly out of character), but they are going to get flat-out flames, like this. Kudos to providing more ammo to my opinion that the vast majority of fandom is populated by idiots. (Also, if you DON'T want to sound like a moron, try using proper grammar and spelling. You aren't texting here. You have time.) I could continue dissecting this diatribe of stupidity, but there are more interesting things to discuss. @Glori: Your crit is well observed--for anime Ash. Yes, at whatever age he's at he's not interested in sex or girls in any way, shape, or form. However, this is a teenage boy--a seventeen-year-old at that. Frankly, I'd be worried if he WASN'T horny. There's staying in character and there's applying logic to staying in character. This is vastly exaggerated, but the concept is not. If a teenage boy was able to turn a creature completely and utterly devoted to him into a hot girl that'd be completely and utterly devoted to him...well, it'd still be creepy, but I could see it happening. The second thing to say is that when it comes to stuff like this, allow for some OOC. It's impossible to pull this sort of stunt off without making SOMEONE OOC. I try to make at least ONE character stay IC, so it rings a little true, but really, with pairings that would never happen, cut it some slack. @Nis: I'm glad you caught that too. I was gonna point it out, but it seems someone jumped the gun on me. @Yassa: I love your artwork. I said it before, and I'll say it again. If you're self-taught, I doubly salute you, because you have an instinct for panel comp that you could really develop. I just suggest working on your writing style. You read like a averagely translated Japanese doujin. That's fine...but you're not Japanese. Also, you could work on improving how you typeset and your word bubbles. Pages like this have too much text. Also, bo-dy? Really? When you have all the room in the world just by shrinking the font or moving the text a bit? I agree with Mo-Khan. Yassa, your artwork is quite nice, though your instincts are correct--you should work on body proportions more, and taking a body modelling course would help immensely. Getting a decent writer would help you very much as well, because your character development and dialogue struggle. In short: Stop saying "I'm bad at drawing these bodies" and letting your fangirls stroke your ego. They won't help you grow. Constructive crit will help you grow and going to teachers will help you grow. You are a fine artist. And you have the potential to become an even better artist. But don't let the false praise of dribbling idiots inflate your head. |

Well if I can clear anything up, I asked Yassa myself and the pokemon being OOC works for what's happening to them. Originally, as pokemon, they have more simple emotions, that of more highly intelligent animals. Being turned human has started to slowly change their thought process and emotion to a more human one, so they have to deal with strange new feelings they never understood before. They aren't OOC in that sense. If they all acted in character then there would be no plot, except that they're human shape and that's that. It'd be Pikachu going "OMG ASH IS MY FRIEND TEHEHE" and that's about it. Maybe some cute things with him trying to figure out how to move around as a human, but he'd still be a pokemon. The point here is that they are becoming human, not just in body, but slowly in mind. They are gaining human attractions for other humans, and common human jealousy that they can't quite yet understand. Being pokemon originally, they have no clue how to react on these new emotions, except by instinct, which is to do what the emotion says. This hasn't been emphasised yet, but this page does clearly show that Pikachu's new human mind is getting strong emotions that he can't understand, nor knows how to control. And it's hurting him inside greatly, because all his life he never had emotions quite like it. Having a new body and a new developing mind can be very scary, you know... I thought I'd say something because a lot of these fans trying to valiantly defend this comic aren't really doing much to defend it except "OMG YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK LEAVE YASSA ALOOOONE" rather than trying to give a legitimate argument. I got irritated that no one tried taking this from a debatable point, everyone's acting so impulsive and biased about the whole thing and it bugs me. Now, someone mentioned Gary earlier, and I DEFINATELY want to see him! Gary was the only intellegent guy in the series, he may have acted stuck up, but he was always right, and he clearly knew how to be a better trainer than that buttfurt little Ashy-boy. Gary would be the type to servey a situation better and figure things out, unlike Ash. Man, Ash has always bugged me in the show. Plus... Gary's Arcanine or Umbreon as a human? ...DO WANT! |

But seriously, you were really harsh.While you do have a point, don't forget that what ForgottenMemories said was her opinion, just like Glori's, so really, what you said applies to her too. Um... this art is defiantly average. Yassa, you seem to only use three shades of grey in your pictures, and it makes it look dull. There's no absolute black or white except in text and speech bubbles/boxes, and that draws the eyes to those black areas, instead of anywhere in the art itself. Yassa, improve on using the whole spectrum of grey, and tonal work in general. Try to put in at least five tones, starting from white and ending in black, in your artwork. Draw the eye to the artwork, not just the text. Also, everyone has the same face. Characters can be told apart by their hair and clothes and stuff, but not by their faces. More facial diversity is needed. Greatly. If you improved on those two areas, I think your art would actually look very professional. |

The critique offered earlier on this month is pretty spot on, but I wanna tack one little thing onto the ellipses bit: they're written with three periods. Two or four or eight look incredibly awkward. I understand this is preferential when regarding personal works, but it's a serious detraction from the text at times. It's just messy-looking. =/ At least, from a writer's perspective. Your use of "flare"/effects is fun, though, and the story's also fun--I went *hunting* for this, if that tells you anything. Your art could improve so much with just a few tweaks and a bit of practice, too. Variety, child! |

So... funny story. Ok. So. A couple days ago, I was talking to this friend of mine. I just joined this awesome new pokemon site recently, and I wanted to play a pokemorph, but human-with-poke-parts has started to bore me as of late and I decided that I wanted a pokemon who turned into a human. I tell my friend this (along with some possible plans on how said pokemon would go about interacting with his trainer afterwards -cough-) and my friend was all "xD You've been reading too much PikaSemeChu!" And then I was like "....wuzzat?" Well, now I know what it is. xD ...and yes. Stuff like this randomly pops into people's heads ALL THE TIME, Amante-kun. xD My story serves as my case and point. -nods- |

omg your comic makes me escape my life! it's wonderful, emotion twisting, and when i finished i almost cried. I know how pikachu feels. Its no exsaggeration. sorry if I spelled it wrong... I dont know what to do now but read it again. I REALLY hope that pikachu gets Ash and Psyduck gets mist. I really, really do. |
