Hey Guys! Sorry for my absence, I really owe you all an apology for making you all wait for one freaking update =.=' Lately Iv'e been really busy... as I said before, We moved out and our new apartment is perfect, I'm really happy about it. This whole moving thing isn't the only reason for not updating.. my best friend had surgery about 2 weeks ago, and yesterday she told me that the doctors had detected a mild form of cancer... This really hit me hard, because I love her and she's very dear to me...I hope you'll be okay, I'll always be there for you<3 Well..Next I wanted to thank you all guys for the comments on the previous page (and for the few contructive critiques ^_^). As I said before, I don't mind critique...They actually help me detecting the many errors in my manga. As for the review (which obviously pissed some of you) i just want to be straight and say it like it is: I don't mind it. If Miss N. wants to express herself like that, then let her do it...If ANYONE wants to express themselves in any way, then just feel free to do it...it is NOT my business. Something that I lately wanted to say is, that I'm so sorry, that a manga like this is placed in the popular list. I definetely agree with Tedmo on page 135, there are a LOT more webcomics which are more capable being in this list... A webcomic/manga, which has a really good storyline, but a simple style is better than a really good drawn manga with a tasteless storyline ... I KNOW my errors, my storyline (if there is any) is crap, my style's too shiny, there should be more backgrounds, my english sucks etc. etc. but please believe me when I say, that I made this for FUN. I didn't even know, people would read it... well, and for those who might actually like this: please be patient with me. i AM a lazy artist.. I have a lot of stuff to do irl which you guys already know >_<! Oh, and now we're at the end...sorry for whining like that, but that really had to be said. And one last thing: don't ever think I would stop drawing this manga because of someones critique...never >_< (If I was about to stop drawing this, I would announce it here..right away...I'm actually eagering for drawing this till the end XD!) Yassa! <3333 I'm very happy you're continuing with the webcomic. Some harsh things (and with an ugly lagnguage) were said in the review (which I only read now and wasn't even able to finish it), things which I defenitly disagree with, by the way. Your comic is popular because it is so FUN to read and your art is something to be jealous of. Really. I may only be a guest here, but darnit, your manga sure has a very appealing twist to it. I haven't seen many grammar errors of grave importance, and your drawing style is absolutely wonderful!!! It's a rare trait to find here for some reason, and you're very admirable for the way you take it! OMG! POTATO SALAD!! >_> <_< >_> Moving on now... I think a mix of both a simple storyline and a simple style of art is best. Some people find it harder to follow, (myself not always excluded there...). For example, webcomics like Honeydew Syndrom with simple art and a basic storyline are good, (mind you, for some it's tetious to not know what certain words, phrases, or references are.) Anyway... Sorry to hear about that. It's good that it's mild, and I'm assuming it was picked up early on, so she'll probably be fine. I'm sure I speak for other's when saying we know what you're going through (or at the very least, just myself). Personally, I've had it hit hard too. A good handful of my family has been taken or has had it. And almost all of my family has been effected by it. My Aunt died Aug 2006 from a cancerous sist (is that the spelling?) around her stomach area. It was the size of a large baby. She sould have gone to the doctor about it years before, if she had, she probably would have lived. The point of my telling this to you, and others who may read this comment, is that you need to look on the bright side and be there for her no matter what. Things can always be worse (knock on wood), but they're bound to get better. I'm sure of it. |

It's good just the way it is. I just want to say, that it doesn't matter what other people think about how you are drawing your manga. I understand the desire to make people happy, but this is your web-comic and as such the way it is drawn/the story line is completely your decision. I really like this web-comic as it stands. I read the whole thing today, and I'll be keeping up on the updates. I like your shiny shiny style, and the lack of a depressing, deep, dramatic, overdone storyline is refreshing. I honestly do -not- like stories with tons and tons of unnecessary drama. There's enough drama in life as it is, and this comic has made me laugh and smile and giggle and that's something that people today need. Your style really seems to have improved since you started drawing this web-manga. Keep up the good work, and don't let life get you down! ^_^ |

I'm usually a lurker, but after thoroughly reading the review and the comments on page 135, I felt the urge to comment. I've always admired this comic not only for its gay and its pretty arts, but as well as for the humorous aspects of it. Personally, I think it's real creative, despite how others have thought it's unoriginal. What I want to say, however, is that I really see you in a new light as an webcomic artist. I have seen tons and tons of artists deleting everything and restart from scratch just from criticisms (or just audience's inputs). And while it's good to take into account readers' view, it's also good to keep your own artistic and creative vision of your own product. I like it that you're going on strong with this story and eager to do so, it shows strength as an artist and as a person who is willing to take criticisms. :) Oh, and much love to your friend. |

We love you! Oh dear I didn't think any one would say something about your awesome comic 0__0 You know.. I totally agree with you on almost everything you said. People are allowed to say something about a comic or manga if they think it is necessary. But I need to point out, what you also said, the most people who post their comics on Smackjeeves or elsewhere, do it for fun. That is what it is all about. If you hated it, you wouldn't do it right? I really like your story, because it's totally epic and I still love pokémon, although I'm a little to old for it ^^; Ah but you're never to old for anything right? And I like it because you have such a beautiful style. I really love it and it doesn't matter how 'crappy' the storyline may seem. Oh and I'm also an lazy artist and I don't get good grades for English, so don't mind it ;) stay as you are and don't bother if you are slowed down by something. Great speech! (may I call it that) Because there ARE some f*cked up persons out there who are just .....unbelieveable jalous/angry that SOMEONE CAN ACTUALLY DRAW. This comic has it very own charme and style and it's yours because you draw it, think it and have fun making it. I'm glad you're one og those kinda artist who can handle critique because when somebody draws as good as you, become so art-famous like you there'll always be haters. OMG like those times people tried to make other people think that you didn't draw your art and that you was a fake artist. PFF... I think you are an AMAZING artist, and despite long intervals in-between updates, I still have faith in you, and believe no matter what you will still update. Because, you webcomic/manga is one of my most favorite webcomics/mangas I have ever read EVER. Despite just picking it up today. N, was just a bit harsh, and very vulgar in her choice of words, really, if my sister ever read that she would think the amount of profanity that I occassionally use would make me saint, anyways, I wish you and your friend the best of luck with what's going on, my dog too had a tumor, but then again, we put him to sleep, and never found out if he had cancer, he was already ten and in a lot of pain, either way, my the Higher Being, whoever or whatever they are, guide you and your friend safely through this difficult period of time. |

Why should you have to apologize for being popular? If the other mangas who are supposedly "better" were actually better, they would be on the list, but they are not. Improvement and Trial. Tedmo and Miss N. and all the fans are entitled to a opinion. Through this comic, you will get great reviews, bad reviews, and just flat-out crappy ones. Regardless of the type, the person, the situation, etc. it all means one thing for you: It gives you room to improve. Yes sure some of the comments were mean but being nice with a pat on the head gets nobody anywhere. I think you are doing a fabulous job. But don't be worried! I believe it gives room for you to improve. You get to see what people think, and this allows you to fix and to adjust to improve to make a better comic. Just think of it as improvement and trial and failure. Don't take anything too personally, the best critiques are the meanest. They tell you their true feelings, and allow you to have room to change. Keep up the good work. |

Hey Yassa I don't know if this Miss Narcotic even knows what she's talking about... not all stories are supposed to have an amazing story line... those take years to make... take it from some one who knows... I been writing the same damn story for three years... and I still don't have more than three chapters Just a bunch of notes, lying around. And while criticism is good saying that your story isn't sexy or just a fluff piece would be a lie. It cute and your characters are endearing as hell. Not too mention your amazing drawing and shading is better than most by half... So, what I'm saying is that you comic is really really great and too keep it up.AND Make sure to tell your friend to get better. |

For the record... I had no idea this existed. This is so incredibly cheesy and...at the beginning it was only my love of Pokemon combined with wanting to see what you did with an idea similar to mine that kept me going. However, as it progressed, I found myself loving the characters and the story. Your art improved, your pacing is phenomenal and you're an excellent artist. My only complaints are the "Horny" Pokemon (seriously...you couldn't come up with a more subtle name? XD), Jessie and James being married (James is definitely a homo), Ash's love of boobies overwhelming his love and understanding of Pokemon (though given the circumstance of this comic I'm forgiving; it's funny anyway), and I'm irked that, even though I had this same idea all on my own, you still beat me to the punch. >.<; Ah, well. I look forward to the next installment, and you've inspired me to work on my own. Actually...if you want to read it.... <3 I love your comic! I don't care what anyone else thinks or how much they know (think they know) about art. For a lot of people it's not "how" the art was created it's about how it makes you feel. I love your comic, because the way you draw is freaking gorgeous to me and I love the story too. I know people are always bitching about updates. I would much rather see an awesome page that you enjoyed drawing once a month or whatever, than for you to stop because it's not fun any more. I know I don't really know you, but your art has had an impact on my life and want you to be happy! On another note the poor pokemon with teddy bear ears doesn't have anyone to love.. sniff. Sorry, I never watched pokemon so idk his name. IMHO everyone should have someone to love and there should be lots of smex! hehe Take care! |

Hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey Wait a minute!!!!!! Smackjeeves is for ALL kinds of comics, and so if you post a comic here, it's fair game to be at the top of the list! If there was a manga that deserved to be higher on the popularity list, then they would be there! Maybe people are frustrated that only BL comics get hugely popular, but the popularity list is created by the people who read it-- the POPULATION. And if the population likes something, it'll be popular. So if those other comics don't fit in to the main-stream-in-fad or whatever, that's their fault. You should NOT feel guilty that something you draw is popular; it means people like it. If you draw it for fun, it'll be fun. If you like it, people will like it. That's just the way it is. There's nothing wrong with your style--backgrounds are nice, but what really stands out in any manga will be characters. Who cares if it's overly shiny? If that's what you like, draw it! You should never draw for someone else just to please them--if you like how you are, then you should be content and happy. I like how shiny it is, I like how cute and fluffy and plotless it is. It's adorable and light-hearted and that's what's so great about it; if I want plot-heavy drivers I'll go read Mortifer; when I want a cute little pokemon slash with adorable characters and random humor I come here. don't let people's negative, nasty, bitter comments make you ashamed or frustrated with yourself. Don't be ashamed of your popularity, be proud of it. And if you think there are webcomics that should be higher ranked than you, then use your popularity to advertise and help propel them. And you can't help your English--I appreciate the fact that you do put it in English. Your comic is cute, beautifully drawn, and terrific. Don't think any differently of yourself. Keep drawing, keep this comic going--it's cute and wonderful and I adore it to pieces. Keep up the drawing. |
